Obituary for Ann Loretta Everett

Ann Loretta
Passed away peacefully at Fairview Manor, Almonte in the early morning hours of December 31, 2018 after enduring the ravages of Alzheimer’s for over ten years. Ann was the beloved daughter of the late Kay and Gerald Everett of Deux Montagnes, Quebec and was a wonderful big sister to John (Selene), Frank (Michele) and Kathleen (Wayne). While her family is happy she is finally at rest, she will remain in our hearts and minds forevermore as the loving, talented, active and capable woman she was before she became ill. She will be missed by her nieces, nephews, and many friends. As a daughter, a sister, a niece, an aunt, a friend, a teacher and a musician, Ann always put others first, graciously sharing her time and many talents to make someone else’s day better.

A small memorial-celebration for Ann will be held on Saturday, January 19 at 11 am at The Grand Hotel, Carleton Place, Ont.

For those who may choose to honour Ann with a memorial donation, please consider your local Alzheimer Society, or to The Dementia Society ( which serves the Ottawa-Renfrew area.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the
127 Church Street, Almonte, Ont. (613)256-3313

I am so sorry to hear about this news. Ms Everett wasn’t my grade 1 teacher as well as music teacher at Good Shepard catholic school in Blackburn Hamlet. I will always remember Ann Everette’s kindness and patience towards me as a small child. I wanted to reach out and send my deepest condolences from myself to all the friends & family of Ann. I am very sad to hear this news but believe in Gods Grace and peace. Ann was a very special person who many loved & looked up to Again my deepest condolences & regards , Josie Bunville

Thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Ann was a wonerful friend and teaching companion. She loved a good prank, could write great rhymes and stayed true to herself. Take comfort that she is now at peace. Rosemarie Schouten
